Dubai is taking several steps towards its energy transition.

The UAE Energy Strategy 2050, The UAE, which includes Dubai, has set ambitious targets for its energy mix. The strategy aims to have 44% clean energy, 38% gas and 12% clean coal by 2050. Dubai has invested in renewable energy projects, particularly solar energy.

 

The Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 aims to have 75% of Dubai's total energy capacity coming from clean energy sources by 2050.
