Documentary series shows innovation in renewable energy, with an example from Paraná

Curitiba received this Thursday (11) the preview of the documentary series “Expedição Solar”, which reveals the main innovations in the renewable energy sector. For production, the documentary team visited seven countries and brought an example from Paraná.

Data from the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) and the Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy (ABSOLAR), released in November last year, indicate that the installed power of photovoltaic systems reached 34 gigawatts in Brazil, accounting for 16% of the matrix Brazilian energy sector, second only to hydropower, which holds 50% of the market.
